Need a class to take? I suggest a foreign language culture class. This semester I am taking a Spanish Poetry class and it is absolutely wonderful! Each unit we are asked to complete some type of multimedia project. We have chosen our favorite poem and recorded it, we’ve created an object that represents our favorite poem, and this unit we focused on movement. Our assignment was to pick out our favorite poem from the Baroque Period and put together a video, skit, dance, etc. that sets the poem into action! I asked BREEZY STRETE—the volleyball super star stud—to help with my film. She did awesome! And we had a good time filming it. The quality is a little fuzzy, but I think it turned out great! I was able to hook up with the CENTER FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING for video help. In the CTL, I used the computer software to add a song to the background, edit the film, and put it all together. What I am trying to say here is: USE YOUR RESOURCES on campus to bring life to your assignments! Shoot, use the resources on campus to bring excitement into your own life!
