Halloween, the 70's, and Library Naps.

Me with Jerry Richwine on Halloween night. :)

"My days consisted of relaxing and my nights consisted of clubs and Halloween parties. Speaking of Halloween, it was an absolute success. This year I was a police officer, which was a lot of fun. It's kind of fun to handcuff people for no reason. Haha."

I cannot believe it is already November. It seems like just yesterday I was battling the 100 degree city heat.

Scooping the guts out of that pumpkin.

My birthday was on October 25th - so I did a lot of fun things for that. I spent the weekend in Indianapolis. My days consisted of relaxing and my nights consisted of clubs and Halloween parties. Speaking of Halloween, it was an absolute success. This year I was a police officer, which was a lot of fun. It's kind of fun to handcuff people for no reason. Haha.

Over that weekend, I accidentally left my lights on and my car battery died. Luckily, I had my wonderful boyfriend there. He had to push my car to make room for a jump. I definitely appreciated it. Oh memories.

Other than that, my down time has consisted of school work, work, and hanging out with friends. Although it's not something that needs to be figured out right now, I am keeping my eyes and ears open for career opportunities in either Cincinnati or Indianapolis. I will be graduating in May - and the sooner I can have something lined up the better. It's an extremely overwhelming process; honestly, I am trying not to think about it too much as it hinders my ability to focus on my schoolwork.

Student Ambassadors: 70's Throwback!

I keep reminding myself that I should take my own advice. I need to just go with the flow and let the doors open. :)

Yesterday was a long but fun day. I had the opportunity to be involved with the Guidance Counselor Breakfast - and it was 70's themed! We went all out - I wore a hideous white, pink, and yellow flower-print dress. The boys sported bell bottom pants and jackets. As a fun activity, we did a Hollywood Squares segment. It was a lot of fun and a great way for the guidance counselors to learn about Indiana University East. Indiana University East gave away a lot of money in scholarships to various schools. It was nice to be part of something so awesome.

Just woke up from my nap in the library. Precious.

After the event, I was incredibly tired. I actually took a nap in the library at one of the desks. Should I be telling you this? Haha. Oh well, you get your sleep wherever you can. Once I was energized, I studied for my neuroscience exam (I think I did well on it). What a long day - but this is the life of a college student!

Keep working away. The semester will be over before we know it!
