Off to a Great Year!

So the new year for me is off to a great start! I love my classes so far annnndd. . . . . I am back on campus! I am not taking any online classes. So I will get to see everyone ;) Down side is I still drive an hour :/ but it is only Tuesday Thursday & Friday. Some of my teachers are really cool and I love that. My classes are diverse and it makes the environment great. The only thing I hate is the price of book$ but a couple of my teachers are helping out with that! As far as the other part of my life (dance) it couldn't be better. Its crunch time right now since we are going into competition season. Last weekend we went to DanceMakers convention in Indy and also performed at the Pacers half-time show. Here is a clip of the JR room hip-hop class. HipHop (click on the hiphop link)
That was a crazy weekend! With the convention we brought 31 girls to Indy to on Friday night and they had one class on Friday night and then had to be up at 7am on Saturday for a full day of dancing ;) They take classes from professional instructions for 3 days and learn so much. I was busy bouncing back and forth from room to room and then I also took a tap class myself. It was weird learning from someone else because I haven't taken a class myself since high school, but I loved learning from another choreographer new steps that I can teach my girls.
I am ready for our competitions to start though. It really is my life. Has anyone watched the Lifetime show DANCE MOMS? That is just a small glance into what my job is :) SO if you have any questions just ask!
