You have one life: live it up.

Loving life with my friend Shannon. Love her! Can't wait to see the ocean again.

"It's going to be a busy but life changing summer. I'm ready!"

Alright, so this will be my last blog post. I am hoping to be back in Fall 2011. :) I will make this short and to the point. I have had so much fun blogging this semester. It is has been really therapeutic for me! I would like to thank everyone who has kept up with my posts. :) It means a lot.

My grades are looking great and all is well. This semester ran me through the wringer; however, I still managed to finish strong. I'm happy with the work I have put into my classes and realize I did the best I can. I am happy to say I have completed my coursework for my Bachelors in Communications. Next year I will be finishing my Bachelors in Psychology.

Congratulations to my friend Alyssa. She will be graduating next week. :)

Life is strange right now. I'm on the verge of another transition in life. I really think seeing some of my friends graduate is adding to the reality of the situation. It is a hard thing to grasp. Unfortunately, it is coming whether I like it or not. I have no choice but to embrace it the best of my ability.

In good news... scratch that... freaking AMAZING news... I am going to be a Communications intern for the Mayor of Cincinnati (Mark Mallory). In fact, I met him yesterday. He is incredibly down-to-earth and a straight shooter (two qualities I highly appreciate). The goal for the next three weeks is to line up my living situation. I will be moving to Cincinnati for the summer. I don't think I can put into words how excited I am. As soon as I left the steps of City Hall yesterday, I wanted to jump up and down (I would have had quite the audience). It's weird how things work out sometimes. My advice to students out there is to never stress too much about things (I'm guilty of it too). Seriously, things will work out. Continue to work hard - both academically and on yourself. Doors will open and things will happen. Also, network-network-network!

Me with some of my Leadershape friends last year. :)

I would like to give a shout out to Jade Guthrie and Hunter Curtis. :) They are going to Leadershape. I went last year and I truly believe I have become a better person because of it. Lead with integrity, guys!

Only a few more weeks and I'm heading to Siesta Key for a while. After that, I'll be heading to southern Tennessee for Bonnaroo. Then Bloomington for the Indiana University Alumni Association. It's going to be a busy but life changing summer. I'm ready! Everyone have a WONDERFUL summer. Make the most of it and be safe!
