There's more to it than just HOT and RICH

Nicole and I attempted to find our husbands at the Statehouse.... but the more important picture, was talking to our legislators. The House and the Senate met on Tuesday, February 8. Nicole, Nick, the External Affairs crew, and I made a trip to Indy to represent IU East. All the IU campuses were present as well. Each had their own sign, booth set up, and representatives. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I think our set up was the BEST, no doubt. We also had the best representatives!
All in all, our day was great! I learned so much on the trip. I learned that even Statehouse employees were pink and other obnoxious boots to work! I learned 4 hours of sleep does quite well when Starbucks is heavily added to the equation. I learned that a car ride goes much faster when you’re in deep conversation. I learned some new vocabulary from John Dalton. I also learned that when it’s time to find a husband, I’ll know where to look!
All kidding aside, the day was successful. We rallied for IU East, talked to a couple of our legislators, and represented outstandingly!
