As you know these past couples of weeks have brought us tons of snow and due to the weather iue has either closed early or completely. I hope everyone is signed up for IU Notify. If you dont already know IU Notify allows IUE to communicate with students and faculty through text messages, emails, voice.
I think this is a great idea because I wasn't sure if IUE was either closing early or completely and didnt know the times but I received text message throughout the day telling me when campus would be closed and what time to expect campus to be open. I would hate to drive all the way there (about a 20 minute drive for me) only to be turned away because of a closing.
So if you havent already please sign up!
All you have to do to is go to east.iu.edu/onestart and choose the notifications tab. Enter your information (cell number, email, etc) and then you're done :)
