Welcome to University College!

University College provides support to first year students through one-on-one counseling, advising, career planning, workshops, and other events. Students who are new to campus this semester should make an appointment with their student coach and counselor. You will meet to discuss your educational goals and ways for our staff to assist you in achieving those goals. Please call 973-8235 or stop by Whitewater 116 today. We look forward to seeing you!

ALEKS Math Placement

If you have completed the ALEKS math assessment please come to the University College office to discuss your results with a staff member. If you are taking your assessment after University business hours (8am-5pm) the University College staff will contact you by phone.

You may practice on the ALEKS website and retake the assessment to score into a higher math class. It is highly recommended that you take advantage of this program. Placing higher could save you as much as $1000 in tuition and book fees!

Writing Placement

The Writing Program utilizes a directed self placement process. Please complete this assessment prior to enrolling in a composisiton course.
