B.A./B.S. in Communication Studies
If you're interested in almost any career from law to education to medicine, IU East can prepare you for success. A degree in Communication Studies is versatile and will help you develop interpersonal, public communication, cultural and teamwork skills which are the most important skills employers are looking for in the global age. If you're interested in a career focused on communication, you can prepare for a job as a political campaign manager, a book editor or a media critic, just to name a few. In addition, our degree prepares you well for graduate study.
The B.A./B.S. online completion program in Communication Studies consists of 60 credit hours (20 courses) to be offered over two calendar years. Advisors will work with every student, based on background, for an individual plan of study. Students also must complete all requirements for the B.A. or B.S. degree.
