B.S. in Criminal Justice
If you are interested in obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice so that you can start or advance your criminal justice career, Indiana University East offers a 60 credit-hour online degree completion program that allows students to complete their degree requirements from the home or workplace. The online program is specifically designed for students who find it impractical or impossible to complete their degrees in the traditional on-campus classroom setting.
As a student you will study a myriad of topics related to crime and public policy, law, criminal courts, policing, corrections, juvenile justice, theories of crime, and the practice of criminal justice. The online degree program prepares students to assume positions in public and private agencies concerned with crime and its prevention, and/or to attend graduate or law school.
Students who have their general education courses completed can receive this attractive B.S. degree online in two years or less. The online completion program in Criminal Justice consists of 60 credit hours (20 courses) to be offered over two calendar years. Advisors will work with every student, based on background, for an individual plan of study.

If any completion program requirements have already been met through transferable course equivalents, online alternatives may be selected in consultation with the assigned faculty advisor. No more than 64 credits can be accepted in transfer from 2-year institutions or community colleges.
