March 10 FAFSA Priority Deadline

March 10th is the IU East FAFSA priority deadline for the 2010-2011 academic year. You must complete your 2010-2011 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 10 to be considered for the most possible aid. Be sure to include IU East school code, 001811. The 2010-11 FAFSA is used to award aid for fall 2010, spring 2011 and summer 2011.

You can complete the FAFSA online (www.fafsa.ed.gov ), or by returning a paper copy to the federal processor by mail. Paper copies will no longer be available in our office. To request a paper copy students can call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID. If you complete the FAFSA on paper and mail it in, the form must be received by the federal processor by March 10, 2010 to be considered on-time for the IU East priority deadline. You are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA online if possible.
