.First Day Back!

So yesterday officially started the Spring 2010 Semester and I couldn’t be happier with my Intro. to Piano Class. We began the class by introducing ourselves and stating why we were there. Many of my classmates have a background in music. For me, I played clarinet in junior/high school for about four years all together. I just want to make music again so learning the piano sounded right. The professor is super nice and I can tell she really wants to help us learn. So far I’ve learned where all the notes are and how to sit and place my hands at the piano. I even learned a little bit of ‘Ode to Joy’ by Beethoven :] The equipment we get to use is awesome and we’re allowed to come in throughout the week to practice which I plan to do quite often since I don’t have a piano at home :[

I'll try to keep you guys posted on what I'm learning and I might even upload a video of me playing...can't promise it will be any good :]

I’m pretty excited to announce that SSS Book Club has begun. I was informed that we’d be reading Dreamhunter by Elizabeth Knox. I haven’t heard of the book before but I read a few reviews and it looks interesting. I always like a good fantasy novel that keeps you wondering and guessing.

Here’s a short synopsis:
