Iowa was...

12/11/2012

Iowa was quite the experience. I told you a little bit about it in my earlier entries. But I want to take this time to thank those who made the trip to Iowa. First and foremost: my family. My Grandma and Uncle made it to EVERY SINGLE GAME this year (and for the past 4 years). They are just as much of this team as the rest of us. They were there to lift me up when we lost and there to praise me when we won. They’re truly our team’s number one fans.

My CRAZY FAMILY decided to drive to 10 hour trek to Iowa, watch my last game EVER, then get back into the car and drive back home. Talk about dedication and love. They brought a dry erase board that they wrote on during the entire game. They asked me to prom, the felt “THE BREEZE” (Breezy), they joked, laughed, and screamed for me. It was a surprise and pleasure to have them there to experience that with me.

Mary Ann and John Morse: thank you the two of you. I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as the team did! It was an awesome experience!! I’m glad the two of you could make the journey with us. Here are some pictures they took!
