Football, Dog tags, Homecoming Queen.

10/15/2010

I absolutely MUST take a break from this boring homework I am attempting to finish.

Tomorrow, Students Today Alumni Tomorrow will be taking a special trip to Indiana University for the IU Homecoming Game (against Arkansas State). This is not an educational trip; we are just going to have fun, enjoy the game, EAT A LOT OF FOOD, and mingle with IU's SAA (Student Alumni Association). The members of STAT who are attending are ridiculously excited (which makes me very happy). I am hoping to see some of my IU Leadershape friends. :) This is going to be great. I am glad it is finally here - I have been trying to put it together for quite a while now. The only thing I'm not excited about is that we have to leave by 7am. Bugh.

My friend Jade wrote "Nicole for Queen" on her truck. :) Such an awesome friend!

By the way, some of you may have seen my comments about the recent dog tag event on Indiana University East's Facebook page. As of right now, there are approximately ninety-five people who have joined the Students for Student Activity Freedom Facebook page. CLICK HERE TO JOIN. Furthermore, Indiana University East has issued this:

"Following the cancellation of the Campus Life-sponsored event earlier this week, the Office of Campus Life will host an open forum to encourage a discussion between faculty, staff and students. The forum will be held at 10a.m on Monday, October 18th in the Graf Center. The moderator will be Paul Kriese, Associate Professor of Political Science."

I encourage people to attend (no matter what side you are on).

Lastly, I would like to say that I am one of the top six Homecoming Queen candidates. :) We have so many great girls running! I would like to thank everyone who nominated me for Queen. Also, I ask to please have your vote this upcoming week (October 18th-22nd). I now have to make it into the top three. This is going to be tough! CLICK HERE TO CAST YOUR VOTE.
