I am currently on the bus headed towards good ‘ol Richmond. I’m in the best mood… you know why!? Well for one: I’m with my volleyball girls. Two: I’m BLASTING all my favorite songs on my computer. Three: Coaches decided to spoil us and stop at Olive Garden for dinner. Last, but certainly not least, number Four: WE ARE THE DEFIANCE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!! Also, Alison Nicely, Paige Lay, and I made the All Tournament Team! And we got the sweet T-shirts for doing so.
Did you know…. We’re 15-0. This is one of the best starts to a season in IUE history. It’s an amazing feeling to be a part of something successful, competitive, and extremely fun. For those of you who aren’t exactly the sporty type, stay open minded… I beg you. Volleyball is a sport that anyone can watch, catch on to, and learn to enjoy! It is a fast pace game jam packed with enthusiasm, emotion, and intensity. And that’s why I love it! And talk about it so much. So stay with me people!
GUESS WHAT!? WE HAVE A HOME GAME ON WEDNESDAY (15TH) AT HOME! FINALLY, A HOME GAME! I think I speak for my whole team when I say, WE WANT YOU THERE. We need to fill the gym! Admission is free if you bring your wolf card. SO DON’T FORGET!! We need all the support we can get. We want to go to bed that night 16-0….Come be a part of it.
