So this past week was Homecoming and this year Campus Life planned alot of fun events. I didnt get to attend everything but I did go to the bonfire and the dance. The bonfire was thursday night right after the Media Clubs Talent Show. I was only able to see the last 15 minutes of the talent show but it looked like there was a good turn out. The bonfire was fun. It was chilly but there was popcorn, hot chocolate and of course the fire to keep us warm. It was a good opportunity to just walk around and socialize with friends. I met a few new friends and we met up at the dance saturday night. In my opinion, the dance was great! It was held in the Graf Center and I think Campus Life did a great job with decorations and Bear Creek provided all the snacks and drinks (i think). There was also a DJ, a Disco ball(lol) and a ton of glowsticks. It was a great night! I danced so much and met more people. I'm not sure what it is about dances but I'm always more social. Usually I can be really shy, but once I'm out there dancing with friends and having a good time I just dont care what anyone thinks.
Well if you didn't participate in any of the homecoming activities, I hope you do next year becaue I'm sure it will be even more fun :]
P.S Sorry I didnt get any pictures but I'm sure there will be alot posted on the school's website really soon.
