Hello fellow IU East Students!!
How is everyone is enjoying the snow? I am loving the looks of the snow but I am tired of being cooped up in my house.
I did get to break out of the house and run some errands today but the weather was still bad.
I must say I am very glad that IUE cancelled classes for the last two days, I was lucky enough that my classes fell around the time that campus was closing so I haven't been to school for two days haha!!!
Today (2-10-10) I must say I was not happy with the way that IUE handled cancelling the classes!!! They call off classes for this morning and say campus will open at noon. Then I get a text around 1:45 today informing me that campus will be closing at 2. This means campus was open for 2 hours!!! Why? What was the point of having campus open for 2 hours? There are students that have to drive from Ohio, and Connersville, and Brookville, and other places outside of Richmond and they had a long drive to school today with all this weather just to find campus was closing at 2. It would have been easier to just call off classes all day today, the road conditions didn't change for anyone today. I feel this all could have been handled much better today.
Ok my ranting is over. I only have one more day of school this week and boy do I have a full day tomorrow at school. I have an Exam in Social Psych, My Notebooks are due in Q200, and I have a long full class I am sure in Geography.
How is everyone's classes going? I hope everyone is doing good and you are enjoying you classes. I like all my classes this semester, I think I am really going to do great in all my classes. I have been so much more excited about school since I changed my major! I am now a Elementary Education major :-).

This is how they let all us students about campus closings or delays so please sign up for this now if you haven't!!! Just click on the Emergency Information link on the IU East homepage and follow the instructions.
Well everyone stay warm... weather permitting there should be school on the 11th.
