Happy summer!

05/26/2010

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! We are now into the second week of classes for summer 1 and twelve week courses. I am taking 3 online twelve week courses and one in class six week course. It has been a busy first two weeks and I am looking forward to December when I can finally earn that IUE degree! I am envious of all you lucky ones who walked the line- congratulations! There are many people taking summer courses- and I noticed a lot of them are earning their degree in December (like me). Who wants to wait until the following May to walk in commencement? It is time to expand our growing school with a December commencement! Anyone with me?

I thought blogs were being shut down last week and noticed that they weren't. I thought I would take this as a perfect opportunity to write a summer blog just to see how everyone was doing. What are your summer plans? Are you catching up like me? Taking the summer semester off and relaxing? Either way I hope you are having a great start to the summer! I just wanted to catch up. My summer plans (other than school) is to improve my work ethic and productivity at work. I also sold my Cricut Create machine so that I could get the Cricut Expression and I love it!! I am able to work on a lot more projects at a much faster and more organized pace. I am so happy that I can expand my creative learning. I have made a few cards and picked up some stenciling material so I can cut stencils. Today UPS dropped off my vinyl so I can start working on my wall decor! I am so excited to start working on my projects. I also have Armor Etch cream (to etch glass), Cricut Stamping kit, and extra Cricut stamping refills to make my own stamps. A lot of people have come to me wanting things made... so this could turn into a nice little business eh?

Well I have my first test of the semester in Nutrition tomorrow and I better get started on studying for it. I have been diligently taking notes and paying attention in class so I feel fairly confident on it anyway but I would like to study some as well.
