Heyyy Redwolves!

I signed up for the internship/resume workshop which I didn’t realize would be so intricate. First from about 9-12 we are having resume building and such working on how to get a great start on our resumes so that they will look sophisticated and professional. Then off to lunch on our own from 12-1 and from 1-3 we have mock interviewing. Which I hope to tell you all more about after the fact but we will have judges who will report on our interviews (we have to dress up) and we are videotaped- if I can I could try to get a copy and post. I am just a tad nervous but I know it is only for the better and not really for real so I can chillout a bit and really work on myself and my standing so that when the time comes I can make the job. Really this is such a great program IUE is doing and if you want more information don’t hesitate to ask- the workshop is from 9-12 and the mock interviews are from 1-3 on February 26th, 2010. Register here, you need to be an IU student or faculty member to attend so be sure to have your username and password ready because after the link they will ask you for it. I hope to see you there!!

Thanks for reading!

Come see me at the Library!

Today, I started my new work study job in the library. I haven’t been in a work/office setting job in my whole life so it was really new to me. I used to work in daycare and in about a week I will not be there anymore. Although I have decided to go on the “sub” [...]

Can’t do life without the drama too!

I am so sick of the drama already. I am ready to leave my current job after a couple issues went down this past week and of course I am not going to blab about it because I know for one thing that one of my supervisors told everyone about the issue… how can I [...]

Happy Monday!

So I think it is going to be very hard to get my goals accomplished if I keep avoiding accomplishing them don’t you? I went way over my budget last month and it is not okay no matter how much I want to tell myself that. Sure I will be okay but I am not [...]

It’s amazing!! 2010 is going to be a great year!

Jeepers! Did you see the parking lot today? I didn’t check out the other lots but TR (Raper) Hall (formerly Middlefork) was packed to the max! Even the visitors spaces were full! It was amazing to see how many people are on campus today. Why am I here? I have all online classes, I should [...]

Woot! New year, new semester, new ME!

I am pumped to be starting back on my online classes and getting back into the fighting ring. I am already stressing about how I can manage four online classes but it won’t be that bad as long as I am organized. Although most online classes are very organized atleast I can say this for [...]

Finals are over! WOOT!

Hey everyone! Hope you did fantastically on your final exams for the Fall semester (I am just praying I did well on either of mine!) I must be honest… I haven’t been doing well at all and I try not to point the finger but at myself. I know I should have worked harder but [...]

What’s that? A not-so scary online class.

It may be a scary thought but one day you are going to have to face it. No matter what your age may be or how scary those syllabus’ look- you mise well give it try. I know that online classes can be scary. My mom goes to Sinclair and has to take an online [...]

Tis’ the season!

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me….. oh sorry- didn’t see you reading there. Did you see me on the home page? I was quite surprised and here you are reading about my day! Woot! That excites me because you want to know what I have to say. First- I [...]

I’m going to buy a Wii! YAY!

So I have been saving up for a Wii- if I buy it on Amazon.com, which offer FREE super saver shipping on all products purchased from Amazon themselves… not individual sellers which I wouldn’t buy anything but my books from anyway- and they do not tax their items because they are out of state. I [...]
